This is a well written book and I enjoyed reading it, but I would probably not read it again because of the protagonist's pessimistic attitude towards life and the people around him. So yeah just check out a copy of this book at your local library and read it so you don't have to spend money on a book you're not going to read more than once and then put it back on the bookshelf to collect dust. Also keep in mind that the writer's and the character's mindset of life and people can and will influence if you're not careful. So I urge great precaution when reading this novel because if you are not careful you will wind up with the same way of thinking as the main character.
