I felt that the message missed a lesson that C.S. Lewis shared with the principle of "Enjoyment and Renunciation."
It's not either/or, but both. Enjoy things and then be willing to let them go. I can't enjoy what I possess for fear of losing it. Love is a non-possesive delight in the particularity of the other!
