Ill be the first to admit it that people have the tendency to try and fix everything ourselves thinking we have all the answers. After reading this excellent yet slightly abstruse book I was spiritually awakened to realize that I don't have the power on my own! Only God is All Love and All Powerful! I'm a sinner, always will be, but God's grace has set me free from my heroin addiction and I feel so liberated. Amen!

This book was one of the most helpful I've read, it really helps you understand the nature of addiction and its self-defeating cycles. It talks about how it affects you in different ways; physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc. It dissects matters of the heart and shows how addiction is not restricted to drugs and alcohol only.
