I had never read any book written by Kathy Herman until I read her Baxter series. She has the ability to make the book so interesting that you won't want to stop reading for anything. In Vital Signs this is especially true. It is much more than a love story. It is loaded with suspense. The main characters exist in each book of the series.

This is a story showing mature & "baby" faith & how God uses both.Dennis is a great example of how each of us can change for the better, even though it's sometimes frightening.All through the book,I saw God working through tragedies & how it all made perfect sense.I just wish it was that clear in our own lives! I'm so looking forward to reading books 4 & 5!

Brief, but a great read. You really want to know what happens next. The different levels of faith..all the way from NONE to committed make the interactions interesting and more realistic.
