As in any academic discipline, the Church has developed a rather highly specialized vocabulary that often leaves lay Christians in the dark. Yet this very vocabulary was intended to communicate important aspects, shades of meaning and insights into Christian truth and teaching. Thus the need for the dictionary to help those without special training understand these words and benefit from them. This dictionary presents over 550 entries that provide thorough definitions in an understandable, readable style.

Rev. Dr. Jack Fucci
I have used this book in my studies as a graduate student and now I use it as I teach on the college level. I regularly recommend it to my students. It is small enough to take anywhere and has a wealth of knowledge. My only negative is that the binding is not very good. Pages are falling out of my copy.

I have taught Bible study for many years at many different levels, from in home study to the University level, and this is by far one of the best extra-Biblical aids avaiable for the study of scripture.
