October 2007 was when NBC started airing brand-new episodes, with DVD releases of the episodes promised in the near future. Well, it's been five years and they're finally available! (nice one Big Idea. keep 'em waiting...) Anyways, the two disc set actually features 10 episodes that originally aired on NBC, and they're all great. Don't be concerned, just because they were made for a secular network doesn't mean it is anything less than the Biblical standard Big Idea continues to maintain. Those alone would make it a 5-star product. However, it also includes three episodes that were originally released on DVD and video (Trouble on Planet Wait-Your-Turn, Cheating Scales of Bullamanka, and the Amazing Carnival of Complaining) and that would have made the set even BETTER... if they were the full episodes. All three have been cut down by about 10 minutes, so major plot elements (and bonus songs) aren't there!! That was a major disappointment. All in all though, a great set that's definitely worth buying. (But then you should go buy the originals of those three, they're much better :)

My 5 and 4 year old both love these shows, and get some good lessons while having some fun. I'm pretty picky with what they get to watch....but these are always a hit.
