Review 1 for When the Pastor Is Your Husband: The Joy and Pain of Ministry Wives
Not only for Pastors' wives
Date:July 3, 2012
I am positive that any pastor's wife would find this book to be helpful! Donna Bordelon Alder writes from an undertanding and caring perspective. She also uses many studies that she and others have done on this subject to present a wide-ranging background for giving a pastor's wife the help that she might need. She speaks to the role, sometimes to the plight, and always to the soul and life of the wife of a pastor. I am not a pastor's wife, but this book has helped me to have a better understanding of my pastor's wife and to be a better member of her congregation. The book is very "readable." As I have read it, it has become a devotional ministering to the hurts and needs of my own soul. I am positive that any woman would find this book to be helpful!
