My son uses this for Homeschool in tandem with History THroughThe Ages. It has made his timeline much easier to construct and more understandable for a six year old.

We have a special needs daughter so this is so much easier for her to use. It gives such an excellant quality to her work that she can be proud of and beautiful pictorial images and record or her study.

We are using this History through the Ages packet along with The Mystery of History: Vol 1. The illustrations are beautiful and my daughter enjoys using her colored pencils to to fill them in while we discuss the various figures from history. I was lucky to find teaching wall pockets at our local store and the timelines from this packet fit perfectly. We have them lined up along our schoolroom wall to display what we are learning. History through the Ages simplifies the work involved in creating a teaching timeline from scratch, allowing us more time to work on other projects. And they are beautiful!

I really like that these are not cutesy, but rather beautifully illustrated pictures to use in our Book of Time. The only caveat is the dates on them. We line up our dates with Bishop James Ussher, as does the history book we are using, however the ancient timeline pictures use a different dating system. I just cross off the dates on them and write in our own dates based on Ussher.

Building a timeline with the figues is great for understanding history from a chronological view. We tape in all the main historical events and then add in books we are reading. This product may be used for multiple years with any history curriculum.
