relational growthGAAge: 35-44Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Life changing book!January 25, 2011relational growthGAAge: 35-44Gender: maleThis review was written for Daily Inspiration for the Purpose-Driven Life. This book has the potential to re-shape your approach to life - and your life itself! It is simply scripture verses centered on a theme vital to Christian living. 5 minutes is all it takes to read each day's entry, but you'll find something in each of these 40 entries to ponder on for the rest of the day, leading you to interact with God about deeper meaning and application.

Cha'keenia Ward5 Stars Out Of 5August 21, 2010Cha'keenia WardThis review was written for Daily Inspiration for the Purpose-Driven Life. This is a great book. Each scripture makes you think about what was said, and about what's going on in the world we live in.

Lisa Alley5 Stars Out Of 5February 9, 2004Lisa AlleyThis review was written for Daily Inspiration for the Purpose-Driven Life. This format includes ALL of the Scripture references with the translation (italics in HB); also includes most of the points emphasized in bold type (from HB). You miss out on the story illustrations, but I prefer having the verse reference to compare with versions of the Bible(s) I own. (footnoted and listed at the end of the HB) A page at the end of each section/day is provided for you to record your thoughts. An excellent (& lower cost) tool for those experienced in devotional readings.

Nathan Parker2 Stars Out Of 5August 25, 2005Nathan ParkerThis review was written for Daily Inspiration for the Purpose-Driven Life.No doubt the Purpose Driven Life is a good book, but I personally think it's being taken way to far. I think Charles Stanley could have summed up everything on one hour. The book is good, but I think they're going way too commercial when they offer excerpt, cards, ......... Also, the 40 days of purpose campaign doens't really thrill me much. After watching the video, I can see why my pastor wondered away from the curriculum & wrote his own. Good book, just too commercial, & a little too liberal.

Mrs. Kimberly Rhoades2 Stars Out Of 5April 23, 2004Mrs. Kimberly RhoadesThis review was written for Daily Inspiration for the Purpose-Driven Life.We were very disappointed in the "packaging" the publisher chose.......we purchased these last Fall, intending to give them as gifts for our Pastor and his Wife, my Bible Study leader, etc., since our church was planning to do "40 Days of Purpose."However, when they arrived, the bindings were so cheap and flimsy that we were embarrassed to give them. We are wondering whether our own copy will fall apart with some use, as well.
