Our Bible Study has studied several books of the Bible from The Smart Guide to the Bible Series. We found it to be a great way to get into God's word. It is easy to understand. We love it.

I received this book a week after I ordered it as we I am studing Hebrews at church,it is extreamly helpful in understanding Hebrews! The authors are expastors and give the greek and hebrew word definitions and alot of background information as well on the history of what was happening in those times.

I had a co-worker come to me with a question concerning the Sabbath and why Christians do not observe it. I could not give her an adequate answer. I had bought this book just a few weeks previously and I started an in-depth review of the book of Hebrews. What a marvelous book! It is so clear and it has helped open up other Bible books and verses for me. I had spent 25 years in a cult (Armstrongism) and this information was needed to build my foundation stronger and with truth. With Lawrence (Larry) Richards as editor you can be sure the book has been checked for accuracy. It is books like this that has made the Bible a delight to read and study.

I just LOVE all the books in "The Smart Guide to the Bible Series." They make them so easy to understand. The only problem is that they do not have them for ALL the books of the Bible. These books have opened my eyes up to things that I just seemed to have missed when doing my normal Bible Reading.
