It does a good job of telling stories from the Bible and the pictures are really good. It does change some of the details of certain stories, probably because of the young age of the audience. That is the only thing that I didn't really like about it though.

Awww. I really enjoy reading this book to my girls. The book is wonderfully illustrated, and as a mom of color, I really like the fact that the children in the illustrations are of different races. We read one story each evening before bed. I explain the verses that the story is taken from (I'm not sure they'll ever remember, but it makes me feel good to associate the story with a specific part of the Bible.) and we review it after we've read it. Both girls have lots of things to say and questions to ask. They enjoy reading God's word.
