This book is a great tool to use in teaching young children the truths from God's Word. The stories are practical and very applicable to little kids' everyday lives. It contains a Bible verse, a story, prayer, and helpful questions to stir up conversations with the child(ren).
This book is also easy to use for parents (or other caregivers) who may not have a lot of confidence in how to explain the Bible to children. Great for family devotions as well!

This book is excellent!! My 4 yr old daughter & 3 yr old son LOVE it! We read it everyday (at breakfast or before bed - or sometimes both!!) and they really understand the verses (and are starting to memorize them. We couldn't be more pleased!

I have been trying to find a good devotional book w/KJV verses and FINALLY found this one! This is great, my kids 5 and 3 love it and I just caught my son saying several different bible verses today that he learned from our devotional! It's not too long, not too short for both of my kids. We also add a song or bible story at the end of our devotional. I can't say enough about this book, I wish there was a sequence!

I think it is wonderful. I started reading it with my two year old and now he is five and we still read it with his little brother. It helps them to do and not just say the scriptures. I will continue using it to help the boys (and myself) truly follow Jesus in our everyday lives.

Really great book. My son loves reading each bible verse. My only complaint is that it only has one picture per verse. I wish it had a few more pics especially since it is for 3-7yr olds. My sons favorite part of reading is looking at the pictures after we finish reading the story and retelling it in his own words...which is very difficult to do with only one picture. DS is only 2 (almost 3) so for an older child it may not be as big of an issue.

I highly recommend this book. I have a 2 and a 4 year old. This is one of our new bed time books. They love it! My 4 year old excitedly asks to read it and likes to memorize the verses. I do the verse repeat one word at a time for my two year old and it gives her a great sense of accomplishment. The stories are relevant and easy for children to comprehend. The subjects also open up doors to communicate about situations that happen between us or with others.

This is the book to buy if you can only get one. It's understandable and the short stories truly help explain how to apply them to life. I also enjoy knowing I am helping teach my children to hide the Word in their hearts, teaching letter recognitionn, and spending quality time through reading.

Excellent book for all ages. Wonderfully sound as are all Ms Hunt's book. Very useful as gifts; I go an extra step and make up cards with the verses, add alpha stickers etc then laminate and include a small easel for holding the "memory cards".

I love this book! It explains what the verses mean is such an easy and understand-able way for my 7 and 9 yr old boys. I would have never been able to explain the verses like this book does!! I agree...I wish there were more than 26 lessons.

This book is great! I really think the age should be different though; it should be listed as maybe 3 to 5 years old. My two year old gets most of it, but someof it is over his head. We read it together, though, and it is a great resource to teach the scriptures!

We love this book. I have a 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old and they are both doing great with memorizing the verses (and it is helping me too!). We do one verse each week so, they can really have it down. Great to do at the breakfast table.

I like the premise behind this book to help kids memorize Scripture. Our son is 5 years old, but he's having some trouble with the length of some of those verses. I think if the verses were a little shorter, he would do better at memorizing them.

Our family has enjoyed this book for a number of years. The stories accompanying each Scripture illustrate them well. More important, they point time and again to the fact that we cannot live God-pleasing lives on our own...and to the power of the Holy Spirit to remind us of God's Word and enable us to obey it.
