Paulist Press Living the Hospitality of God

The author encourages us to view hospitality as the intersection between the private and the public, to embrace it as a breaking down of boundaries.

Throughout these pages, he looks at theological and pastoral implications of living the biblical command to be hospitable to the stranger. One the one hand, we will see that concern for the stranger is the pattern for Christian social interaction. On the other, we will come to view hospitality as the challenge to see the stranger in the same way in which Christ saw the stranger - as brother or sister - and to act accordingly.
