This is an excellent book. We were lost for ideas to cover such a wide age range. We have children from ages 2 to 12. Easy to modify and make work for a smaller group. So glad I ordered this!

We have a fairly small Sunday School, and this book fits our needs perfectly. Most plays have a few main parts (good for Junior High students) with the ability to place younger children in Nativity places. Suggestions for hymns are nice, yet easy to switch to more familiar ones which the congregation can sing with. Stories have humor intertwined with clear Christmas message. Highly recommended!

The book contains many quick skits/slays with great prop ideas, which is going to save me alot time. Most skits/plays are written for 4-6 speaking parts and I was looking for more skits/plays with 10-15 speaking parts - otherwise wonderful book.

I would highly recommend this book. We followed the suggestions that were made by the author by writing the lines in the props. We also seized the other suggest of giving the parts to each child weeks in advance. The children were able to practice their lines at home with their parents. We came together two hours before the play and rehearsed as a group. The play was enjoyed by all who attended the performance. This book was awesome.

I bought this book on a whim, having come across it when browsing CBD's website. Ours is a small church with combined age groups, and the plays were perfect for us. The scripts are easily adaptable to accommodate various ages and abilities. One feature of the plays that I really liked was that many of the lines were written on one or another of the props, or scenery sets! They were incorporated right into the play, so you needn't worry if you have children (or adult narrators!) who won't remember their lines. Great book. Can't wait to see what our Sunday School group does with this.

I had been looking for awhile a short (15 minute) Christmas plays that were respectful enough for a somewhat conservative church yet would not require more than 2-3 practices and I found it! This is a great collection of plays, namely one called "Tooooo busy". Great buy!

This book had some really cute plays in it. Very good for smaller churches and very nice when you don't have a lot of time to put something together. All the plays were cute and looked easy to do. Props looked to be easy also. The only thing I didn't care for was all the singing in each play. Of course, they can be left out, but the plays are really short if you do. All in all, it's definitely a good value.

I was very happy with this product. I am the Children's Church director for a small church so we often struggle with finding shows for small casts that don't involve a great deal of cost on props, costumes, etc. I was able to find a show in this book that we are using this year and read through many of the other shows that I intend to use in the coming years. This is definitely ideal for small churches! I was very pleased.

This is a great resource for small churches. We are going to do one this Christmas. It is really flexible for a variety of ages and numbers. However, I think most will need more than one rehearsal.

Not exactly what I was looking for. I think they would only take one rehearsal, yes, but they are so short I don't think we could use them. There were a few cute plays, but they were only 3-4 characters with a lot of lines, and I think it'd be hard to make it work for the 20 or so little kids that we have.

One-Rehersal Christmas plays is just perfect for our small Jr. Church class. We attend a small church and have children ranging in age from pre-school through Jr. High,so needed something for everyone and this book fit the bill.
