Tracie Peterson as always tells a beautiful story. I really enjoyed all the books in this series. Thumbs up to Tracie for another wonderful job.

I felt like I was experiencing the frustrations and struggles of the family relationships. Trying to follow God's leading with love and helpfulness with the in-laws who clearly did not live godly lives but claimed to be God's children was painful for the heroine to experience. I wanted to step into the story and be her Christian friend and encourager.
Excellent struggle and the bitter-sweet ending for the wife and children was clearly presented as one that the wife knew was not what God wanted. Made me want to start the next book immediately to see how it was resolved.
