While the ending was disappointing, the rest of the story was fascinating. I had a great time reading it and just couldn't put it down. When I finished reading it I learned it is the first of 3 in a series. Boy was I thrill to learn that and immediately bought the other two. Right away I noticed the reason for the disappointing ending of this book is because the story continues. I am excited to read the other two and see where the story takes us. I love this author. She is funny and unpredictable in her writing, which in my book is a great combination!

The book is slow starting, very quirky, and somewhat unbelievable. Too much "fake" mystery. Hardly any Christian values. Heroine just gives up in the end. Wouldn't recommend.

This is an easy read book. It was a little predictable and at times quite unrealistic. Having said that, it did keep me engaged to the end of the book. I love sequels and enjoyed the books of this series.

I am careful about what I read and I read a lot! I couldn't put this book down. I love trying to figure out the whodunit but couldn't until almost the end. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more of her books.

Great story about how our past catches up with us, and how we have to forgive ourselves for mistakes. Kept my interest, I couldn't seem to put it down. Looking forward to reading the rest in the series.

I was pleasantly surpised by this book. The author has a quirky way of writing, but it isn't distracting to the story. It actually helps build the character. I found it to be very interesting and read it over the course of three days. Then I bought the other two books in the series and have thoroughly enjoyed those as well. Would highly recommend these books.

I read this entire book in one evening. I loved it so much, I contacted the author to find out if I could order her other books from her (they are now out of print, sadly). She was lovely, and offered them to me at a very reasonable price! An absolute page turner! Loved it!!!!
