Great book! I bought it to pass on to a friend who is uncomfortable praying in front of people. After reading it, I discovered it had a lot of helpful tools for leading my small prayer group in addition to helping my friend build confidence in praying out loud with others. I have to order a second copy now because I don't want to part with this one.

The Lost Art of Praying Together provides encouragement and instruction to both the veteran of prayer groups as well as the novice. It is rich in historical details and biblical support for group prayer. Easy to read but not lacking in spiritual depth. It will inspire you to seek out others to join together in prayer and it will provide you with useful, practical sggestions to help revive this art in your personal life and the lif of the church.
