Diane McWilliams5 Stars Out Of 5May 11, 2003Diane McWilliamsThis review was written for Abandoned to God.I have long been familiar with "My Utmost for His Highest" but not until reading this book was I familiar with Oswald Chambers. What an incredible life he lived for his Lord. I could hardly put the book down yet hated to come to the end. It was both a joy and a challenge to my own faith.

Rosie La Vallee5 Stars Out Of 5July 8, 2010Rosie La ValleeThis review was written for Abandoned to God.If you want to know someone who really lived by faith read "Abandoned to God". Thru Oswald Chambers' life you'll learn how a person that loves and obeys the Lord does not have to worry about "the details of life". God always takes care of that. He shows us that when God calls and we are available, God, in a variaty of circustances will take care of us and of whatever it is He is asking us to do. Oswald is a life of faith in action, "Be and I will do thru you", one of Oswald's quotes, represents his actual life. This is a must read for a person who seeks to completely rely on God, and wants to be certain that there is a way to live giving Him your all, your best and not questioning Him. I love this book.

Carey Young5 Stars Out Of 5July 14, 2005Carey YoungThis review was written for Abandoned to God.This book has been a spiritually uplifting one. I love the fact that the author addressed Mr. Chambers struggle within himself and his battle to serve the Lord. I found it refreshing to read about the humility of a man while we live in a world of pride.
