Humorous Happenings in Holy Places is a fun read. With warmth and insight, the author shares funny moments taken from the land of the Holy. I especially enjoyed a story she told on herself. It involved a bottle of cough syrup that looked more like a bottle of booze. When she tried to sneak a drink in a Sunday School class, she received some strange looks. This is only one example of 101 humorous happenings. This book would be an excellent gift for a new Christian. It reminds us all that we are only human. We all make mistakesand they can prove to be hilarious ones.
