Emma Yoder puts an ad in the local paper offering quilting classes. She wants to earn a little extra money so her family doesn't have to help her with her finances. Quilting is something that she loves to do so it seems like the perfect plan. Boy did she get a unique group of students! There's Star, an aspiring singer, who has a rebellious streak. Jan, a biker dude who needs a hobby. Pam and Stuart, a bickering married couple trying to work on their marriage. Ruby Lee is in need of a break from her duties as a pastor's wife. Paul, who is a widower, has a baby to raise on his own. Each character is facing some sort of hardship and as the group gets to know each other they begin to share their problems. Emma believes this group of people was brought to her for a reason. She intends to help her future quilters find some peace in their lives. By helping this group of half- stitched quilters she is also helping herself face some of her own problems. This is one of Wanda's best books yet! She does a great job creating characters who are dealing with problems that many people can identify with. One of my favorite characters was Star. She is a rebel without a cause, who only needs some encouragement to find her way. I think we all can relate to pushing the boundaries to see where we fit into this world. I enjoyed every page right down to the surprise ending! This is yet another fantastic book by Wanda Brunstetter. Happy Reading!

This book was from Barbour Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for my review.

It was very good. Examples of how lives can over lap and entwine around each other. Sometimes we have to see things through others eyes.

What a fun book! Emma Yoder decides to start a quilting class not realizing all the lives she will change. You might think that with all the different characters the book could get confusing, but it doesn't. The author does a superb job of switching between the different viewpoints. Their interactions are also well written and make the book especially enjoyable.

From a couple struggling in their marriage to a man who has lost his wife, you will relate to each character in some way. This book held my attention and kept me reading till I finished! I think you will enjoy the book and fall in love with the characters. I hope Wanda Brunstetter writes more stories like this one, I know I will buy them! I gave this book 5/5 stars because the story is fun and the characters are lovable!

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

I am a big fan of Wanda Brunstetter and think she outdid herself with this book. I just got it and couldn't put it down. It is different from her other books since it has such a blend of characters. I hope there will be sequels to this book so we can follow the lives of other members of her quilting club.

It was such a pleasure to actually read something that held my interest. It is a dark period in my life right now after losing my parents and husband in a short span of time. This book truly lifted my spirit.

The discription of the "players" gave me a mental picture of them as I was reading their story. Very well written.....
