This so far is my 14 year old daughters favorite book and that says a lot, she would rather be outside than studying anything and she actually enjoys this subject.

This book is a great companion or supplement to a more comprehensive high school Human Anatomy and Physiology textbook, but is not detailed enough to be a stand-alone text for high school students. It does contain short-answer questions and instructions for labs that can be used in conjunction with another curriculum. Information on each system of the body is contained on one or two pages of written text (compared to 20-30 pages in a typical high school text) and the rest of each chapter consists of pages of exercises and labs.
