This is one of the best memoirs I have ever read. Laura Bush is totally transparent but also discreet in her discription of her life before, during and after the Whitehouse. Her passion for women's issues and human rights around the world is inspiring. She is truly a beautiful, compassionate and tireless public servant as well as a devoted wife and mother. I was so touched by the example she sets as a First Lady.

Absolutely loved this book. It is written BY a women FOR women. As in it's very descriptive with meaning behind each exchange she had. There will be no justification for things so if people are wanting answers to questions they have this is not the book for you. But if you are interested in Laura Bush, her family and their life in the White House, before and after, then this is a great read. I personally LOVED it..
