This book is a must read. Marian has a way of connecting that draws you into the story she tells. I really felt like she could relate to me and what I have experienced. There were times I really did not want to read what she was saying, but I needed to hear everything she said.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Our small group women's bible study group has been reading this book for the last four months! (We were attempting a chapter a week, but there is SOOOO much to discuss!!!) The book is directed at single women, but the truths are so valid, that they apply to each one of us! My life has definitely been affected! I have underlined all over the book, and told tons of people about it! I think I'm going to have to buy a second copy to be my pass-along copy, because I don't want to let mine out of my hands! It's too good! We have one more chapter to go, and we are looking for our next book! I hope we can find something that is full us such wisdom!Open your hearts to the things Marian brings you in this book! She is really tuned into God! Give up your own selfish desires and let God have control of your life and AMAZING things will happen! They have for me! I have been blessed!

Loved this book!!!Marian Jordan writes as if she's having a conversation with the reader - but it's not one of these "you're single for a reason" lectures married women will give single women that are easily blown off.Ms. Jordan is a single woman talking to the reader (who may be single, married, divorced, etc) about our obsession with making our "list" and sticking to it - without consulting God about His plan for our life.The temptations and lies surrounding our culture are exposed and given biblical direction and solutions.Such an amazing read - I've already loaned my copy out and several people have expressed an interest in reading it as well. I've ordered copies for friends who are struggling to meet the status quo we are constantly trying to fulfill!
