This book would make a great graduation gift. Also, using the book with the video series as a small group study would be very good and practical.Just read through it before giving it to my sons, ages 17 and 15. I know they'll glean much from it.

I so wish that Focus on the Family would make this book available in audio book version. I so want my son's age 17 and 19 to obtain this knowledge contained in this book, but they are non readers, but will listen to anything I load on their I-pods.

This book is without question the most important that a young person in the "critical decade" will ever read! It is simply a "must-have!" Filled with Dr. Dobson's practical wisdom and insight concerning every major decision that will be made in this brief, 10 year span of life, it will undoubtedly direct the future course of events for MANY, MANY young lives!

As an adult, I thought this was an interesting, thought-provoking book. I wish I'd had a book like this when I was young. Lots of good insight into all the decisions that loom in the future - done with humor, honesty and emotional impact. Will my 18-year old feel the same way when he reads this book? *Will* he read it? I hope so!

Bought this for my 18 year old son, he was so encouraged by it he made his 20 year old sister read it and bought 3 more as Christmas gifts for his friends! His main comment: It's important to God and my future that I make wise choices now, and not delude myself that poor choices won't affect me!
