I bought this book hoping it would help me over come some personal obstacles in my life, and I quickly figured out that although it does offer prayers against certain curses, this book is mostly about CONDEMNATION AND JUDGEMENT UPON THE READER.
A friend showed this book to me for only two minuties at a prayer meeting. I knew in my spirit that it was a book I wanted to own. I am so bless to have found christianbook.com and get this book and many god send books. I will be getting more of your books for friends and family as soon as I can afford it. I hope others see what a great blessing it is to have such treasures in our hands. love you all. Keep up god's work. Bernadine
I had to buy this book because I reviewed it on another online book store. When I prayed this prayer over a spiritual daughter and she immediately gotten a financial breakthrough before the week was over.
This is a very good resourse book of prayers. It not only give you scriptures for certain spirits, but the prayers give you a discription or characteristics of the spirits that are influencing the body of Christ. I found it very helpful in studying spiritual warfare and I have shared this book with my pastor and two other ministers of my church.
Prayers That Break Curses explores Biblical teaching on generational curses. It is an important guide which presents a plan for using a combination of prayer, confession, and scripture to meet the opposition of these demonic influences over your life. The reader is given step by step instructions on how to be empowered to exchange the failure and frustration of living under the curse of evil influences to the experience of a new life of fullness in the power of Christ. This is a handbook for standing up to demonic influences, ruling spirits of evil, a spirit of idolatry, addictions, and the seducing spirit of bondage. Eckhardt also explains how to be delivered from the continuing cycle of generational curses, alcohol and drunkenness, sexual abuses, rebellion, pride and witchcraft.Modern theologians have wide-ranging opinions and understanding on the doctrine of demons, satanic curses, and exorcism, Eckhardt boldly presents a viable interpretation of the doctrine of deliverance. He provides the reader with a reminder that as believers we have been redeemed from the curse and power of sin. Christ has provided forgiveness and the power for deliverance.Eckardts concluding challenge calls for a commitment, on the part of the reader, to meditate daily for a month on parallel promises for the righteous with the punishments ahead for the wicked adapted from the tenth chapter of the book of Proverbs. Prayers that Break Curses is written in laymans terms. Eckardts writing is clear, convincing, and well thought-out.As Reviewed for Midwest Book Review
