This movie is anything but Christian! Other than a few prayers said here or there this movie does not have any Christian value. To call a movie Christian and then promote drinking, foul language, and the appearance of sleeping together before marriage is a slap in Gods face. Shame on me for not doing my homework and finding out what some consider to be Christian value and family approved.
Thank you

This movie was compared to "The Blind Side" - while it has its moments, it has none of the uplifting, positive feel of that movie. It starts out sad and the dark clouds never really lifts throughout the movie. In addition, there is little that is overtly Christian in the movie - nor do we see how their faith helps them through a terrible crisis. The football game footage was weak (most of the time, you weren't even sure who won the game or how). Overall, a disappointment - it could have been so much more.

For a fairly big movie producer and well known actors and actresses this films directing and acting was very poor. Non believable acting, poor substitute story line for something that could have been done much better, and as one review said winning a game was more important than anything. This is not a Christian movie and was a waist of time and money.

If you're looking for a "Facing the Giants" type movie, this isn't it. This is not a Christian movie and it really doesn't have a positive message. You won't hear anyone praising God or ending prayer in the name of Jesus but you will hear swearing and see alot of people drinking. Not a very uplifting movie.

First, I am disappointed that this movie really didn't have much spiritual substance, not to mention some kissing scenes that I would not consider appropriate for children.
It seemed to be more about winning games than anything else, which in my opinion takes away from the movie.
Definitely a disappointment, I believe that movies should have substance and this was not a good pick christian books.
