I needed reassurance that our retirement plans and ideas were okay and some redirection to improve them before we step into the retirement side of our lives. This book is an extremely good resource, full of Godly direction and basic common sense adjustments.

This is an excellent book on finances. It gives very reasonable, yet Biblical based guidelines. It includes step to step guidelines for setting up your finances, investments, with some estate planning. The book is general in nature and not the type book for selecting particular stocks or mutual funds. It is mostly top level suggestions for a low risk, low stress, method of saving for and using your money in retirement. It provides suggested resources for additional information on estate planning, wills, etc when the topic is too complex to cover in the book. Would recommend this book as a basis for finances and retirement planning for any age although most of the info is directed towards those reaching age 50. Would be a great book to read before making important long term financial decisions.
