This translation is wonderful. It's very readable, understandable, and still very piercing with the choice of wording used to translate.
The front cover is much more pretty in person than the picture online shows. Also, the size is perfect for toting around or for study purposes. I would have no problems recommending this bible to anyone.

This Bible works Great on my Sony Ereader when set in (auto crop mode) as the Book of Psalms comes out filling the entire page as many Bibles seem to always shorten the text in Psalms and Proverbs. I was very Pleasently Surprised by this and use this for every day reading. Funny thing is when on a Kindle it does shorten the Book of Psalms which can be annoying to read. Once again, try using (Auto Crop Mode) when reading on a (Sony Prs t1) ereader and see the Refreshing of reading God' Word. I have many translations and it's the Holy Spirit that quickens the Word to our Herats while reading a printed hard copy or ebook of God' Word, so reading a translation that one is comfortable with is Important to the Individual. I sure would recommand this to a Friend.

I have many bibles and when I got this one it was exactly what I was looking for it was easy to read and understand, some versions are very hard because of the lauguage and almost discourages me from looking into Gods word but this one was amazing.

I ordered this FREE e-book Bible, God's Word translation for my I Pad 2. I downloaded it and tried it out and was disappointed in the fact that once you open it up, you cannot go to different books, chapters, verses...it starts at the beginning of the Bible and unless you want to scroll each and every page until you reach your destination, it's fruitless. I called Customer Service and was told by the representative that the capability to go from one book to another was not available yet. So, if and when it becomes available I will try it again. In the meantime, I've archived back to my library and will wait for an updated version.

I am not ready to give up my KJV but I enjoy reading this bible. I also like that it is a translation and strives to stay close to the orginal language.

I found this Bible easier than the NIV version because it just breaks it down in such simple words. It's still the Word of God, but easier to understand.
