Some of the "Love Comes Softly" series movies were recorded with the 'background' music being too loud. There are times when I have to increase the volume in order to hear what the actors are saying.

Loved the series. This is #2 in the series. I purchased this one first for my church library and I watched it with my 15 yr. old daughter. She loved it as much as I did. I purchased #1, #3, and #4 as well. All equally good quality and a good story.Michael Landon Jr. has inherited his fathers talent for sure.

Whole series is WOW! You can't help but feel for the people depicted in this series. I'm a male and yes I've been through some hard times and so I can feel and I must admit I need tissues on hand. The advise given to the offspring is so beautifully put that I'd like to memorise them. Who knows when or if I'll need to use them one day. The WHOLE series is a must buy. I hope and pray that there will be more to this series. Sit back enjoy and be BLESSED. I'm going to put this review on all of the others so I don't have to type it out again.

I thought this was a good movie as well as the first. It still had a good story line, no foul language. I really like the fact that this series shows the dad being a man of God & standing strong for the Lord & teaching his kids the same Christian values! How many men actually do that today?!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't read the books in this series, which I am glad of since it seems to be impossible to enjoy the movies if one is a loyal fan of the books. That being said, I didn't enjoy this movie nearly as much as the first one. I thought that all in all, the actress playing Missy did a good job of portraying the character she was portraying, HOWEVER; that character was not the same Missy from Love Comes Softly. Missy from Love Comes Softly was outspoken and feisty and bit bull-headed. This girl was shy, soft spoken, and...well, I don't know much else to say because she lacked much development. Also, I felt that the movie didn't flow very well and lacked a climax. It was a bit cheesier than the first one, too. Still, I enjoyed it and would watch it again.

I have read the book as well and enjoyed both. The scenery and characters will take you to a time and place when life was simple, yet hard to endure. Both men and women would enjoy this movie.

This installment in the Love Comes Softly series provides the viewer with the much needed content that promotes family values. It is filled with how a young married couple can produce a family unit that is strong in faith, hope, and love. All of the experiences of Clark and Marty in their journey westward and in the establishment of their home and family provide viewers with the skills and realities that help build close relationships. The strength and determination that is needed to navigate through losses, difficult circumstances, and conflict within and outside the family is clearly communicated in this video. It will inspire anyone, especially young marrieds, who is willing to really listen to and apply the truth it conveys. Highly recommended! In fact the entire Love Comes Softly series is a winner!

The books and the movies (so far) are nowhere alike. Love comes softly movie was like the book but it ends there. The rest of the movies are no where like the books.I liked the books better. I'm so disappointed with the movies.

Aw, this movie was so sweet! I watched it without having seen any of the others in the series and really enjoyed it. The romance was so cute, and Logan Bartholomew and January Jones acted really well together. I would definitely recommend "Love's Enduring Promise" to anyone.

Excellent movie! One word of advice, you must watch from the first of the series titled "Love Comes Softly". You cannot watch these movies apart from one another. It is a recommended must that you watch all the series. I have seen "Love's Long Journey" and cannot wait to see "Love's Abiding Joy".By the way, I have the first three in my DVD collection and will definitely purchase Love's Abiding Joy.......
