Travis & Reba care for each other, but they are rushed into marriage by Reba's dying father. Married for a week, Reba doubts Travis' love for her and believes he only married her for her father's ranch and money. Reba leaves Travis and he is unable to find her. Desperate and alone, Travis wonders if he will ever find her and if the real loving marriage he longs for is even possible. As a happily married woman, I cannot imagine life without my husband or what I would've done if he'd left right after the honeymoon. This novel shows how forgiveness and the love of Christ can help us overcome difficult situations.
