Great little book, wish I would of read it before I got married. Got it for my 20 year old son, he read it and thought it had some good Biblical advice.

I read and gave three books to friends. Me, I am in my forties. I gave the book to one single christian man of 50 years old still searching for his soul mate he can't find the right one after 30 years of christian life; one young christian girl end tweenties type; one christian woman in her mid-thirties. I also lended this book to an always christian-and-never-married of thirty years old. All of us enjoyed this easy-to-read book (two hours of reading for all the French speakers mentioned above) ! It's an eye opener to what we can seek as christian people, and to what we should look for in a way that is totally opposed to what the world has to offer.

At first, I was thrown off by the title because I am not looking for mate only because He is rich, I need a partner that will support me in fulfilling God's purpose. After reading the review on this page...I ordered the book. Initially, I wanted the ebook version but paperback was cheaper and God want to use it to bless someone else. So the book came on February 14 (so I figured...that's my valentines gift for myself...lol)
So I read this book on Thursday & Friday...I love it. So direct to the point, book for people between 18-24 or singles. Well, it is also a good book for those in relationship and those looking to marry. I borrowed my friend this book & she love it as well. I am so glad I bought this...highly recommended book for all to read. I love the break down on the last page, it summaries the whole point/purpose of the book.

I gave this book to my daughter who is using it as an reference/guide book. She thoroughly enjoyed reading it and gleeming information from it. She also liked how the author ended the book with a prayer for the reader. If you want to follow God's lead in your dating....along with your bible this book would be good start in the right direction. Who knows, it may lead you to your million dollar mate.

I bought copies for my daughter, teen-aged nephews, niece and a couple of unmarried (20 - 30 year old) friends. I read it and was very pleased with the style and content.
A friend who saw it, was captivated by the cover picture and asked me to get copies for her school library.

I actually bought this book for a single friend of mine. After reviewing it first myself, I thought this would give her some godly guidelines in her dating experiences. She's a new believer and has been in and out of relationships. She's hasn't given me any feedback on what she thought of the book (not that she has to), but she hasn't given it back to me either. So, I take that as a good sign. : )

Being a hopeful romantic and a devourer of everything Godly-marriage-based, I was intrigued and delighted to find this low-priced jewel on CBD. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be super wonderful based on its small size, but I was pleasantly surprised with the content.
Though most of the information I have read before in similar books, I enjoyed the approach that this author took, especially the personal stories that he told from his own testimony and love story. It gave me extra hope that God does hear and honor the prayers that I pray now for my future spouse. Or as Randy Pope likes to say -- my "million dollar mate."

I got this book for my 18 1/2 year old daughter. I wanted her to have a realistic view of what a marriage partner should be. I really liked the book. She has just finished it and says she's glad she read it. It really gave her insight on how to date and what she's looking for when she's ready to marry.

I bought a few books on this topic to share with teen-agers and young adults in families that I know. I feel better knowing that I have handed them some good information and good advice for very important issues in their lives. This book comes across as caring, real and is also pretty easy to read, which is a plus!

I found this book very valueable not only for my unmarried children but also for my married ones. This is information that they can all pass on to their children and the young people that we all come in contact with...about choosing a mate.

This is a good book with good advice. The six principles are Scriptural and sound. However, I found that they are for the most part common sense for the Christian. If you are thinking with your mind rather than feeling with your emotions, and if you let the Holy Spirit rule in your life, most of the advice in this book would be old hat. I would recommend this book to teenagers who tend to live for the moment and allow their emotions to rule. Otherwise, there are better resources.

After being single and frustrated for 5 years, this book helped me to realize being single isn't all that bad. It's a journey that is full of excitement. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is frustrated and giving up hope on finding their one and only!!

This book is an easy and quick read with very understandable concepts. I thought I knew these concepts, but the way the author conveys them along with his six principles and stories has changed the way that I used to look at dating. I cannot recommend this book more highly. I have purchased more to give to friends as this is a must have for singles. If you are a single in the dating scene, please purchase this book as it will truly enable you to see how God desires you to approach looking for your mate and how to build a marriage that will grow deeper and deeper with each other and Jesus.
