The method of presentation utilizing visuals along with "teach/review/test/re-enforce/teach" makes for easy understanding and recall. The outline is very teachable. When I presented an overview of "30 Days..." to seasoned Bible study students, they were amazed at their increase of understanding. It works!

I'm a Sunday school teacher and I bought this book for myself first. When I went over the book I decided that it could be a good study guide for my teens class and I bought books for all of them.

This book is helping me to face the one book in my life that I have had a hard time gaining a real good understanding of ( the Bible). It is helping to in lighten so much of the history and putting things into a prospective that I can relate to . I am so thankful for the knowledge it has given me and I plan on making it a gift this Christmas to all my kids and grand kids and hopes it to will help them gain a better understanding of the Bible.

This book is an excellent study guide to help you understand the epochs, the main characters, the geography, and the main story of the books of the Bible.
It is easy to understand, enjoyable, and each chapter builds on and reinforces the material you learned earlier. I have never understood the geography of the Old Testament until reading this book. I like to read through the applicable books of the Bible, then use the chapters in this book to help me assimilate the knowledge and organize my thoughts.

This is a great book and is very educational. We use this book for our Bible study on Wednesday nights at church. It's called the "The Big Picture" where you tie your bible from Genesis to Revelation. Everyone should read this book.

Actually bought this by "mistake," but it was God's way of giving our congregation just what we needed. Excellent foundation in Holy Lands / Biblical history and geography. Basics are probably presented more clearly than they were in my first year of seminary, yet this is presented in a way that people with no previous Biblical knowledge can completely understand it. Great for a new members class or as a refresher for older members; EVERYONE who uses it will learn something!
