Am recovering from three dark valley situations in a four month period and I needed reassurance when I saw this book even though I have been a believer for many years. It's comforting to read a few pages before going to bed and be reminded that our God is, indeed, in control. My head knew it but my heart was still hurting. He understands that and will not let me go! Dr. Stanley is perceptive as always whether he writes full-read or more gift-type. A real treasure.

I love every book from Charles Stanley. This book is wonderful. It help me to realize that every time the devil attacks me, that the devil is a liar and God and His Word are the truth. My God is in control of my finances, my career, my emotions, my health, and my relationships. I have nothing to fear because my God is in control.

This book wasn't what I expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lovely pictures, the way it is laid out, and the depth of content is wonderful. I was expecting a regular, full read book. This is more of a small, gift giving or table top type of book, but as I said, the depth of content is wonderful (the ususal depth you would expect from any of Dr. Stanley's writings). I am not sorry I bought it, and the price was great!

I love this book!

It was the first of many Charles Stanley book I purchased, and it was so much more than I expected. It's short, and simple, but powerful. I'd recommend this book to anyone going through a hardship in their life right now.

I hit a very dark valley a few months ago and a good friend encouraged me to read this book. All I have to say is WOW!!!! I feel like the book along with scripture and prayer was written just for me and the circumstances I was going through. Loved it so much I've been buying as many as I can and giving them away to encourage other believers to hold on to Gods hand he will never leave nor forsake you.
