This is a very good book but it is not for the beginner. You should have a thorough understanding of the major arguments for and against Christianity or you will be lost. The contributors of the book are all well known and experts in their field. It is about time something come out to address many of the arguments of the "New Atheists". Personally, their is only one that deserves credit and that is Christopher Hitchens.

This is a good evaluation of new atheism. I particularly enjoyed the chapter where William Lane Craig critiqued Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion. I did not really like the chapter where Michael Behe talked about God and evolution. Behe believes in common descent and thinks that it can be reconciled with the idea of God. All in all it's a good book and I would recommend anyone interested in the topic.
