I have the Kindle Fire edition of The Message, and I just love it! I use it when I'm reading my Bible to help clarify or get a slightly different perspective on a passage of scripture. It's fairly easy to navigate, although not as intuitive as I would expect, as if you go through the whole table of contents to find the book for which you're looking, it takes forever. But if you go to the actual Contents, then you have a list and can select more easily where you want to go (this really is my only issue with it, but once I figured out the fastest way to get to where I want to go, it's been great).
I would highly recommend The Message on e-reader!

I find that with most large print they still are not large enough,but this bible is perfect,makes it easy to read and I love the message bible so much because its easier to understand.

I bought The Message because I have heard it mentioned often and I have heard preachers use excerpts from it. I knew it was a paraphrase in modern English (I have had the Living Bible for years) but I was not prepared for how 'hip' it was. In fact, I found it rather flippant. I have several different translations of the Bible which I use to compare passages for a better understanding. This was why I ordered The Message. I would not recommend it to anyone as their only source for God's Word.

Large print & easy language has made this a great addition to my daily bible readings. I am having trouble with the verse layout as each verse is not numbered. I do believe it is just an adjustment though.

Love Peterson's use of everyday language to bring the message to life for a new generation. Well loved passages feel brand new and allow for new insights and understanding. Numbered verses make it easier to study with others and the timelines and Story in Five Acts are a helpful addition.

This was an expensive dud. While I like this version for my teenagers, you have to flip through page after page to get to the verse that you need. The search function will not go to a particular verse, only chapter and it seems to get stuck on the index. My son found a youversion.com app that was free and you can run searches on key words, verses, chapters, and change versions to compare the text.

This Bible is very easy to read. I love reading my NKJV or NIV and then going to The Message to get greater incite into what the Lord would have me to learn from His Word. The cover is very pretty too!

The only minor disappointment was the feel of the 'premium leather' cover. I expected it to be more soft and supple. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have The Message in hard back w/o the numbering and I really like it. But now having this so convenient on my nook and with the numbering I can compare with other Bible versions more easily. It is really a Great value buy. Oh, and the numbering doesn't get in the way of the novel type read The Message delivers either.

I have read and attended Bible studies in both the NIV and Revised Standard versions so I have a pretty good base in the more traditional versions. The Message was a nice surprise. I like the format, and it is written in language that we use today. The words that are spoken are in quotation marks. I also appreciate the large print.
