Thomas Nelson Exploring Machines, Buildings, & Weaponry of Biblical Times

Exploring Machines, Buildings, & Weaponry of Biblical Times adds a new dimension to your Bible reading. While many books discuss people and places of the Bible, this unique reference addresses the engineering feats of the ancient world. Sanitation systems, means of transportation, defensive weapons, housing and more are clearly explained through vivid descriptions and 211 accurate, original line drawings. Max Schwartz provides a fascinating study of Biblical engineering spanning from the Old Testament to the New, while also investigating the archaeological remains from other cultures. 250 pages, hardcover. Also includes a glossary of building terms at the back.

If you are looking for a book on how the people in the Holy Land in the 1st century built buildings, weapons and roads etc. then this is your book. I take groups to Israel on tour and its really been a help explaining to travelers how they built things in Jesus' time.www.walkingprophets.com
