Review 3 for Always the Baker, Never the Bride - eBook
Enjoyable read. Loved the characters especially Fee and Aunt Sophie. Emma and Jonathan met through his craving for coffee and a chocolate brownie. This set the pace of the story when Emma had to work for his hotel. She is witty and smart allowing a love to blossom in her heart while baking the most delicious cakes. While allowing Jonathan to heal and get to grips with his own feelings. The plot was well executed especially with the parents thrown in the mix and their own struggle with a failing marriage. To move forward is always hard when you hold on to the past. A lesson to remember. A good read

Simple story, outcome was as expected, no surprises. Characters were quite well developed, but of course movie star handsome/beautiful. Are there any plain people out there?

This is the first book of a great series. I love the recipes and tips it has every chapter. The story was a lot of fun with some neat twists. A very good romantic comedy.

Review 7 for Always the Baker, Never the Bride - eBook
I had great expectations for this book, but to be honest, I felt it was a complete flop. The story was predictable, and more importantly I thought the Christian emphasis was weak. For example, I really felt Bricker didn't need to refer to the couple's dating issues as "foreplay." Sorry....just not one I could get into.

Review 10 for Always the Baker, Never the Bride - eBook
I really enjoyed this book, even though bakeries are death traps for me, due to celiac disease and a severe wheat allergy. The weddings at the Tanglewood brought back fond memories of my own wedding, where we had a many tier gluten free cheesecake with chocolate & fruit drizzled on the layers. Emma and Jackson are a nice pair, seeking to fulfill their career goals when they meet each other. Through a lot of hard work and a little creativity, the Tanglewood opens and starts hosting weddings.

I loved this lighthearted book! It was a fun read; I really did laugh out loud several times. I got a big kick out of the dysfunctional family and the quirky aunt. The ending was great. I’ve feel in love with Sandra Bricker’s books. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Review 20 for Always the Baker, Never the Bride - eBook
This book was adorable. Sandra D. Bricker brings to life some very colorful characters from the star of the book Emma Rae to the Eccentric Chef and his assistant. Story begins with a young high school girl who discovers she is a diabetic, and then that same young girl is now grown and chooses a profession that does not fit. She becomes a baker, and a very good one at that. The book has twist and turns you just do not see coming. I found myself laughing, I truly enjoyed the book. The book also shared tips, and recipes of all things at the end of each chapter. I even found myself try a recipe or two. The book not only brought the characters to life there was also a biblical message on how no matter how long it has been that you spoke to God. He is waiting to hear from you. Pray, as the characters in this book did. I truly hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. God Bless
