Tyndale House The Author's Blood - eBook

Owen Reeder has been told that he's nothing special all his life. He has always believed his only gift is his ability to devour books, but now he finds himself in a battle that will affect not only his world, but also a mysterious place called the Lowlands.

As the battle approaches, Owen remembers the words, Some may trust in their strength, in their weaponry, in their number of soldiers, but I will trust in the love of my father, who delights in crushing the mighty by using the weak. He will defeat the enemy with the good-hearted friends he has given. Witness the final battle in this conclusion to the Wormling series! Recommended for ages 10 to 14.

This book was amazing and really was the best book out of the whole series! Not only did it wrap up the entire series very satisfactorily, it went so deep. There was just so much emotion and depth to the story, you just couldn't help cry at the Son's actions. This book really captured the sacrificial love of God in such a beautiful way.
Of course the book had it's flaws, as all things do since the Fall, and a couple confusing moments, but in all, it was a great read. I'd recommend this book to any person from 9 to 15, or just anyone with a passion for scriptures represented in a fun, captivating way.

I have already purchased the first (3) series for my 11 year old son and he was just so captivated with the first (3) series, I ended up ordering the 4th and 5th books and he just as interested as the first three. A side from his regular reading of the Bible, he's not normally what you would call an avid reader, but for some reason he is absolutely intrigued with the Jerry Jenkins' Wormling Series.

My 12 year old grandson enjoyed the book very much and could hardly put it down. He said only those who are into fantasy literature would appreciate it the way he did.

This was the best book in the series! The parallels between the main character and Jesus are really striking and eye-opening. I read this in order to check on what my son was reading. It was recommended Summer Reading by Focus on the Family. This series is very much a page-turner, and has a lot of Biblical parallels. The hero is very likable and the evil is clearly portrayed as such. I couldn't put it down, the story gripped me so much. Lots of plot twists and surprises, (though grownups might be able to see through some of them). Book # 5 is the culmination of everything that has been going on, and all the loose ends get tied up neatly and happily; some battle descriptions, some might be too gory for sensitive children (parents, you know your kids). Highly recommended for ages 9-14 or so.

LOVED IT!!!Awesome! That was so cool how Owen's parent's the King and Queen comes back!IT was so sweet. It was so sad though that Velvel's greed clouded his thinking. To me Jerry and Chris's message is clear, Jesus went through so much just so we could have eternal life. That is a message everyone needs to hear.I don't want to give too much away to those who have not read it so lets just say I never wanted to put the book down and never wanted the series to end. Two thumbs up,maybe three if I had a third thumb!
