Gospel Light How to Be a Christian Without Being Religious

Since the days of the Early Church, Christians have struggled to find a way to be "good"--to please God by their own efforts. Sadly, most of us end up carrying a burden God never intended for us to bear. What's more, our works-based brand of Christianity ends up looking like any other religion of the world--bound by joyless rules and rituals. Fritz Ridenour's study of the book of Romans provides an antidote to the pharisaical spirit and shows that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship. It is not man reaching up, it is God reaching down. Every Christian can enjoy his or her birthright when they realize who they are in Christ. The result is a life full of hope, joy, power and potential.

This book has been proven over time to be one of the clearest and easiest to understand explanation of the fundamental Christan doctrine as presented by Paul in the book of Romans.

This is the third time I have used this book for a women's Bible study. Each time with both new and well read Christians this book has created an opportunity for growth. I would reccommend this book for groups from 7th grade to eternal living. It is a wonderful study for out-reach groups as well. The illustrations and text bring the book of Romans to current times and real life situations.

This book changed my life and possibly saved my life - 35 yrs ago. I have given away more copies of this book than any other. Awesome - it answered all my questions about God, Jesus and my walk with Them and how the Holy Spirit helps me. My favorite book.

Excellent book, easy to read and understand. This book is excellent for those that are starting and also those that are serving the Lord. I think that any Christian that is confused and looking for some clear advice from the book of Romans should look into this book.

You need to buy this book in bulk. You have to know at least a dozen friends and loved ones who will benefit from reading and studying it. This has to be just about the clearest presentation of the Gospel ever written.Believe what Our Heavenly Father is doing for you!
