I was always reading the King James Version, but Much is hard to understand. The NASB is a lot easier to understand.

When I purchased this Bible I was under the impression that it would have references along with wide margins that I could take notes in for school, but it didn't have the wide margins. So I was kind of upset when I received the Bible and saw there was no margins because that is what I really needed and wanted. I like the NASB version though and the references are helpful.

As this version is used for Bible study courses, it would be nice if there were a bit more room for notations. I find the columnar reference print too small to be as useful as I had hoped. Therefore, more room for notes may be more beneficial.

With my current and well used Bible coming apart, I deliberated whether to order new or re-bind. I've learned that re-binding costs more than purchasing a new Bible and I would lose some inner margin- so I began my search. I was looking for a NAS, wide margin, with cross references and foot-notes. Single column and thumb index preferred. I really love all Ryrie has to offer, but in the end I went with this Bible for the single column and wider margins. I waited on pins and needles until it arrived (which it did - a day earlier than estimated, even during treacherous weather conditions!). The book itself is good quality, the paper quality- great and the large print- although not one of my requirements- is a bit easier on the eyes. However, I was very disappointed that the margins are not even half of what is depicted on the website. This was a deal-breaker for me. I called customer service and spoke with a very helpful associate who gave me a few choices to review and will be exchanging this edition soon.

I have owned 2 of these and love them. (my puppy ate my first one, so it had to be replaced) The text is easy to read, there is plenty of room to write notes and it is durable (except from puppies). Never had a soft cover Bible that held together; I've had this one for about 6 years now and it is still doing great. NASB is my main version of choice due to accuracy and ease of understanding.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BIBLE WITH JUST THE RIGHTSIZE TEXT AND LAYOUT. WITH IMPAIRED VISIONI FIND IT NOT TOO OVERWHELMING TO READ.TOP NOTCH.

I have loved the NASB since I was born again in 1976, because it's up to date, but translates from the original documents. I have filled up my old Bible with study notes and wanted to have a new one, especially one that gave me room for writing notes in the margins. This Bible has that. I also love that this particular edition has valid, relevant scriptural references along the side.

The translation is in contemporary English, so the Biblical text is easy to understand and interpret. The Biblical text is divided into sections with headings, and they not only provide outlines but also make the transition easy to follow. Cross references placed on a column next to the text are extremely helpful for Bible studies. However, not sufficient marginal space for notes or commentaries. The font size is good for daily reading and desk top studying.
