I really enjoy this NASB at such a low price yet awesome quality. I like the section headings very much, and also personally appreciate the 1977 edition where the translators kept the second person singular Thou and Thee in references to God. The layout of the book is also very user-friendly. I am glad that this ebook is available not only in the US but also in Canada. I hope the same thing can happen to the NIrV someday.

My e copy of the NASB is great for daily reading. I particularly like the feature on the e reader giving me options for the size of the print.

The NASB has always been one of my favorite bibles (along with the NTL and the Greek Text itself). When I got an e-reader, my first search was for this translation. It works perfectly, and I'm very happy using it. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I will say that when I first downloaded it to my Sony Compact Reader, it got put in the folder database/media/books, and like many others reported, none of the links worked. That meant no functionality for table of contents links or go to links. To get to the book of John, I had to use a scroller and leaf through page after page starting with Genesis. At that point, the e-bible looked pretty dead in the water.
The solution was to reinstall the e-bible in the folder Digital Editions/Annotations/database/Digital Editions. Suddenly all links worked! Since then, I've found it very useful. If you're having trouble with link functionality, be sure you've installed it as a Digital Edition. Hope that observation helps you get wonderful use from an amazing product.

I am looking for an e-reader so that I can read the Bible. I need to be able to increase the size of the font, as well as the spacing between the lines. I borrowed a friend's Kobo and downloaded the NASB 1977.
Not only can the spacing not be changed, but when I went to the Table of Contents and called up a specific book, the chapter numbers ran from the left edge of the screen to the right edge. If I touched one of the chapters at the edge of the screen, it would merely turn the page. I would need to go to a previous chapter and then go page by page to the chapter and verse I required. A long process. A clerk at Chapters (Canadian store where the Kobo is sold) told me he thinks the NASB 1977 may have been digitized for computers and that it shows in "landscape" rather than "portrait" which is why the numbers run to the edge of the reader.
Another disappointment is that you are not shown which chapter you are reading, only how far along in the book you are.
It's a shame because the NASB is such a good version of the Bible.

When I first purchased my Sony ereader two years ago, the only bookstore that sold an ePub version of the 1977 NASB was Barnes and Noble. It wasn't available anywhere else and Borders did not acquire the rights to sell and I was heart sore.
For the Sony ereader - you can search whatever book or term you are looking for and I love it!
Thank you Christianbook for acquiring the NASB for those of us who do not own a NooK or Kindle - God Bless You!

I have long appreciated the NASB version of the Bible for its solid scholarship and readability. This ebook version is a bargain, and I would recommend it for any Bible lover's collection.

The negative is all about the technology side of this. It is difficult to find this translation (NASB 1977) anywhere, so I thought it would be great on my Android tablet. Using the reader makes you want to carry the printed version.

Happy with use though I would like an update that had a search line instead of having to scroll through the chapters to find the passage I'm looking for

I bought this primarily to use on my Android smartphone. It won't work there. Its fine on my desktop for reading, but you also can't "cut and paste". This is silly. I have two different Bible programs that will allow me to cut and paste passages for study notes. It was very cheap, or I would want my money back.

The word search is quite fast and you can forward to the next result simply by clicking on the right arrow next to the search word. That's nice but the program doesn't tell you where you are in the Bible except for a large fraction that tells you a position, not chapter and verse. Why not just tell you 1 Peter 3:15 instead of 1591/1628.
