This is my first year homeschooling and my son absolutely loves the BJU K5 books. He loves doing his worksheets everyday and teaching him to read has been way easier than I expected. I also love that even the phonics book incorporates Christ and Christian values into the curriculum. Nice and colorful and holds my child's interest.
