Yes, the lady who was so displeased with her cup must have received one that was a "second." I purchased 4 of these about 2 years ago, and I am delighted with them. They are very pretty, and grace my place settings. I use them constantly and they show no wear. They are time-tested dish-washer and microwave safe. These are my favorite cups, and I have many!

I received the "Joy" cup as a gift and loved it, so I wanted to get the "Strength" cup for my husband to add to the collection. What a disappointment. The cup was very poorly made, the painting did not even match the shape of the cup. It was very sloppy and uneven and I am thinking that I received a "second" rather than a properly inspected product. I was very disappointed and did not give it as a gift, now every time I look at it I experience the same disappointment. Will not order this product through the mail again, will only go back to the store where the first cup was purchased to buy any products except books. It is not worth the expense to ship it back, so live and learn.

This was a pleasant surprise. Not only is this coffee mug a good size, it is very well made and decorated. I purchased it as a gift and am very glad I did...thank you. This is not the first item I've ordered from you and will not be the last.
