Enjoyable but not a top 5, clean and edifying but I'm not rushing to read authors other books. Still it's entertaing and clean with a salvation message.
Check out my video of me singing Home at my church!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was hesitant to purchase it because I had never heard of it or the author, but was pleasantly surprised! I am a writer of spiritually inspired fiction and was very happy to see other books out there that told stories but kept God in it without being too super holy. This was a great story with real and charming characters, as well as inspiring moments that held me captive. I highly recommend it!

Reggie, a city loving lawyer, is having the worst day of her life! I can't imagine having so many disasters in one day! Someone is trying to kill her....but who?
The story is fast paced & hard to put down with characters that are so real & likable. You want to root for them to fall in love.
Buy this book....It's packed full of suspense & romance with a spiritual message. You won't be sorry!

It was interesting, it kept you wanting to see what happened next, and not want to stop reading.
Wanting an Edgy Christian Fiction ? One that combines Faith, Murder and Mayhem together ? In Pursured, we meet Reggie aka Regina , she is a lawyer at Benton Associates and it seems that her day is about to get really bad as she loses the account for the Lightning Bolt over a spelling grammar error because of course - the person she had signing the contract was an ex- English Teacher. It shows readers , that English is so important nowadays no matter what you do or career you pursue. Fast forward to the Airport scene, grabbing her luggage she bumps into someone and lands with a bruise on her head - Can her day get any worse ? Unfortunately for Reggie , the day is just starting as at the end of the novel , you'll be thinking "Boy , how can anyone live through what she's been through". Driving home, she ends up in a Car Crash and then when she finally arrives home , her place is trashed from bottom to top . It seems that Fate is definitely not allowing Reggie any free passes today. Enter Dylan, her knight in Farming gear - We read as Dylan takes Reggie under his wing and helps her but soon he too will find himself caught in a track of mayhem as it seems somebody is content in Reggie being terminated. As the novel goes along, we discover that Reggie was adopted and that all the bad things happening have something to do with her borth parents ? Can Reggie locate her birth parents and discover what the Heaven is going on before it's too late and she finds herself six feet under ? Will Dylan and Reggie end up together as we discover Bobbie Jo has more than the hots for Dylan and she won't let anyone near "HER" man ? Find out in Pursured by Lillian Duncan and discover whether The Lawyer lives and wins her own Farmer. A Christian ECF with City Girl Meets Country Boy by author Lillian Duncan.
Lillian Duncan gives us not only a great suspense, but also a look at what we pursue in life. Reggie is pursued by a killer, but she has pursued money and success, but at what cost? This is an easy read, but keeps the reader moving through the story, giving a few bumps along the way to keep you interested.
This book was so good, I actually e-mailed the authors website. I actually received a response. She has a new thriller coming out in the fall of 2011. I don't want to miss it. If you like Colleen Coble, Irene Hannon, Terri Blackstock or Branilyn Collins, you'll love this thriller.
There are some books you can put down to come back to later and there are some you can't. This was one that I didn't want to put down. I had a little difficulty getting through the first few pages, but then it gets going and your off on the ride of your life - well, the ride of Reggie's life. You thought your day was bad, you haven't seen nothin' 'til you read about Reggie's day - from bad to worse.
I loved it. There were sufficient twists and turns to keep you guessing. What's a good suspense if it's easy to figure out? Loved Dylan. Gives me the shivers. LOL
