Go for the GloryQuickly becoming a local jockey phenom, Tricia begins to set her sights on the prestigious Santa Anita Derby--until an accident keeps her out of the saddle for weeks! Will she recover in time?

Kentucky Dreamer

Preparations to race in the Kentucky Derby are under way, but when Tricia is involved in a tragic accident at her home track, she can't shake the haunting images. Her racing suffers, and all of a sudden Kentucky seems farther away than ever.

Call for Courage

The Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing is actually within reach for Tricia and Spitfire! Tricia's lifelong dreams are clouded only by her father's health. Is he strong enough to see his daughter in the biggest race of her life?

I was very disapointed in both these books. I had heard many good reviews about the author, and with expectations of an enjoyable read (Or at least a readable book), I found it was quite boring and I haven't got through any of the books yet, I own both collections.

I originally read this book as a copy from the public library. I liked it so much that I decided to purchase a copy and give it as a gift. I really liked the fact, since it is a series, there were five books in one.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! The way Trisha fought a true battle physically, mentally, and spiritually all tied in with horses, it made me look back over my own life! However, I was slightly disappointed that I could pretty much guess what would happen before the end by reading the back cover, but other than that it was a terrific book that still contained shocking curve balls to what I expected. Plus, it was relieving to have a Christian book with no bad language to watch out for! I would suggest it to ANYONE!! (p.s. I'm a teenager, but I still think it would be great [and appropriate] for readers of all ages)

This was a perfect birthday gift for our 9 year old daughter. Her thing right now is horses...horses and more horses. I read these books and my sister did also when they first came out, these are such a clean alternative to many other choices out there. She started reading them right away!

I was disappointed that I didn't pick up on the fact this was a "volume" not a "set" of books. I don't know any younger children who like to try to hold on to a large/thick book to read. As an adult, I don't. I am sure the books are good reading material because I like the adult books by this same author.
