When I placed the order for this DVD, I didn't know what to expect and relied on all the wonderful comments about it. I'm so glad I did. I was very touched watching this DVD and how much he quoted the Bible. A great movie to watch with the family.

saw this film on TV and had to have a copy to show my Bible study group. Particularly impressed with character playing the pastor's (future) wife and her monologue in front of college kids...remarkable message for youth today.

The movie about Peter Marshall's life and ministry touched my heart deeply. So much so that I'm ordering one to give it to my friend as birthday gift. Impresses me his commitment to stay true to what God called him to do. I think it's a good example to be followed today: a man with strong spiritual convictions that didn't bow for one moment to the rich and powerful. The world it's in great need of men like him today. I feel sorry that he left too early.

My husband and I enjoyed watching this movie together. It presents good messages, such as following God in all we do. This movie was well done and well acted... and had a sweet love story, too!

I have watched it twice already and will watch it again and again. It portrays Peter's life as it actually happened, as he honored the Lord whom he faithfully served. It also shows what an oustanding person Catherine was. A DVD with a positive message, and nothing objectionable in it! Rare, indeed.

I caught the tail end of this movie on television one time and knew I had to see the entire film. I was not disappointed and can enjoy seeing it over again and know I won't be bored with it. This is one movie I will keep in my collection of favorite movies!

I had seen the movie on TV years ago but it hasn't been shown for a long time. When I saw it on sale, I bought it. My 12 year old niece watched it with me and she said that has to be her favorite movie now. Shows what God can do with a man or woman when they submit themselves to him wholeheartedly.

I have read the book, and have seen the movie on TV. For a while when I was leading a Bible Class, I mentioned parts of the book and the story of Peter Marshall. It is one of the most inspiring life to ponder; I enjoyed especially his sermons. The casting for the movie is excellent, just watch the "real Peter and Catherine" in the special additions to the DVD, and you'll see. I am happy to own the DVD now, and be able to watch it often as I would like. I heartily recommend this movie to everyone, no matter what your denomination. It is inspiring, and upliftine. Definitely 5 stars!

My parents had "A Man Called Peter," & "Mr. Jones, Meet The Master," in their library, so even though he died a few years before my birth, I have known of Dr. Marshall since childhood. The film is a faithful adaptation of the book, with Richard Todd in a solid performance. Although the movie is "old," it would prove to be a dynamic Christian experience for today's younger people.

Have always enjoyed Catherine Marshall's "Julie" and "Christy" books, and really enjoyed this bio pic of her husband. He has such a way with words, it is inspiring. Am so thankful for his example!

Possibly, definately in my oponion, the best and most inspiring movie ever. It teaches how to depend on God for guidance in our lives. It has humor, inspiration, romance, and for those who like a good tear, it provides this also. If every person on this planet would watch this movie, we'd have a much beter world to live in!!

Starting as a child in the 50s, I have viewed this film often, frequently as part of my Easter and / or Christmas holiday routine. It always proves to be a blessing and encouragement as Peter Marshall's fervent love for the Lord and people come thru in the film.

We enjoyed this film very much. It is especially thrilling to see a person who hears God so clearly and to see that portrayed in a film that was shown at public theatres. How times have changed!
