This is a darling read to share with your children. I shared this with my 4 and 6 year old and they were delighted with the story...they wouldn't leave things half done...no way!!

The drawings and the glitter cover really drew them in, and the use of a dog put them over the top! The kids were enchanted with the fact that they might have Guardian Angels! As the story revolves around Sophie and her Angel Gabby, and how Gabby helped save the day!

Don't miss this one, the story is great and a learning lesson, and the graphics are adorable.

I received this book from Tommy Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.

My daughter was so excited to see this book arrive, as she adored the first book in the series, Gabby, God's Little Angel, which we reviewed last year. She laughed at the adventures of trying to wash a dog, as bathing our Marley is an adventure in itself, as she is so large, and will not stay in a tub! We had quite a discussion after reading the book about starting projects and finishing them! Whether it 'stuck' I'm not too sure (pun intended), as she's 4! LOL. But the Gabby books have her believing in her own guardian angel, so we shall see!

I love this series as it helps teach character with Christian values! It is on the top of my list for books to give to little girls especially!

Raffles, a senior angel, was asking the Gabby and her friends about the child each angel was watching over. Gabby seemed to have a problem with the child, Sophie, she is watching over. It appears Sophie never seems to finish any task she starts. She gets frustrated and gives up too soon. This happens over and over again. Gabby is always there rescuing her from pending disasters. Gabby is at her whits ends as to how to get through to Sophie to encourage her to finish what she starts.

Can Gabby really get through to poor frustrated Sophie? I think with God's guidance and His little angel Gabby it is possible for Sophie to have more confidence in herself.

I was very touched by this endearing little story about Gabby and Sophie and the Stick to it Day. The illustrations depict the authors writing without any doubt as to what the story is about. Even if a child just looks at the pictures they will be able to tell what Gabby and Sophie are up to. Of course you must read the book with to the child so they will get the full picture. I am sure your child with be delighted with this book.

I highly recommend this book. In fact I will be passing it on to my two year old granddaughter.

    I rate this book a 5 out of 5.

Gabby is a guardian angel whose assignment is Sophie, who quits halfway through her tasks. Gabby does not know what to do. Gabby finally uses a Bible verse at a key moment to encourage Sophie to stick-to-it. This is a great book to encourage young children to finish tasks, discuss God's love and guardian angels. Great pictures add to the fun making this an excellent choice to strengthen discussions and encourage children as they grow to use Bible verses to support their daily lives.

Gabby's return in the latest children's book from Sheila Walsh will absolutely delight the little princesses in your life! My own daughters were held spell-bound from the first page, absorbing the bright pictures with wide eyes and giggling at the scenes of chaos, such as where the dad is pictured with paint spilled on his head, or Sophie ends up with noodles on her face! Not only is the story entertaining and sure to be requested over and over, but the cover is beautifully done, and my daughters declared that they LOVED the sparkles on the front cover.

When asked their favourite parts of the book, they both indicated they liked the verse stating "We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time." That, of course, is music to my ears. What better gift can a book bring to my children than teaching an important promise of God? As with the first book in the Gabby, God's Little Angel series, Sheila Walsh has managed to captivate the little ones while imparting spiritual truth into their hearts. That makes this book a winner!

I highly recommend this children's book and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
