I bought this book for my 2 girls aged 9 and 11 and I ended up reading it too. We thoroughly enjoy this book. Imbedded in the story of how a blind girl & her mother/grandmother trusted the Lord are highlights of teaching points on giving oneself to Jesus, and living in the assured promise of God's care and that the LORD has something better than what our eyes can see.

Delightful, well-written Christian biography of the blind, gospel hymn writer, Fanny Crosby. Large print and illustrations make this book very suitable for the younger reader, as well as the older reader who can read it through in one sitting. Good wholesome reading for the entire family with tender, poignant sections that will speak to the heart of both reader and hearer.
