Master Books The New Answers Book 1 - eBook

One can either take the Bible as the basis for scientific truth or use ever-changing evolutionary assumptions as the foundation for your biblical and scientific knowledge. The Bible-as-base model resolves contradictions and gives concrete answers; the evolution-as-base model is as unsure as building a house on sand. Ken Ham knows this, and wants to provide families and individuals with the answers to questions raised by the media's wholesale acceptance of evolution, be it human or cosmic.

Unafraid to take on the tough questions, Ham and the other authors he has assembled eviscerate notions of millions of years, gap theory, dinosaurs turning into birds, and a local flood. Moreover, they give the basic facts behind the Ice Age, distant starlight, carbon-14 and radiometric dating techniques, and the supposed proofs for evolution.

Perhaps best of all, and what sets this book above others of its kind, are the final two chapters which are instructional to evangelism. Showing how this information can be used in witnessing and how dinosaurs can be used in spreading the Gospel message as given in the Creation narrative. Adults, kids, believers, nonbelielvers, creationist and evolutions can all benefit from this resource.

The chapters in this text are written at roughly a 9th grade reading level, so it is not properly a text for children, as some have supposed. It is a nice introduction to Creation Science. As someone trained at the university level in the biological science -- having endured countless lectures on Darwinism and having that theory taught as scientific fact -- I find it refreshing to read from the Creationist perspective. Creationism is no less proven than Evolution (I now have a good grasp of the arguments for both); however, with Creationism, there is a bit more to look forward to.

This book should be on every Christian bookshelf. Ken Ham at his best once again. I was lent this book by a friend once and then decided that I needed to have both vol 1 & 2 for my own family. Knowledge is power for Christians.

Here is a book that is hard to put down. If it were not for the serious subject matter, I would say the book was enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I purchased this book to supplement the material being used for our Science curriculum for our child in Kindergarten. Although the book is very interesting it is way beyond the comprehension level for a 6 yr old child. My husband and I will enjoy it and will attempt to simplify some of the concepts to give our child a better understanding of Creation vs Evolution.

This book deals with both unthinking pagans who have deluded themselves into thinking their mutant monkeys as well as carnal Christians who try to add it to the Bible by their theistic evolution and billions of years. Both Biblically and scientifically this book is devastating to anyone who does not believe in Genesis.

I have not finished the book yet, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. Ken Ham speaks as close to lay man's terms as he can get considering the subject matter (i.e, the laws of physics, math, logic, nature, et al). It's a fascinating read. As believers, it is not necessary that we seek proof for the foundation of our faith. But as evangelists, it is vital that we equip ourselves with the knowledge to defend our faith. Not only that, but the author demonstrates how everything pertaining to the functioning of our universe exalts the one and only God.

After reading this book, there is no doubt that the Bible is true, particularly the debates that are going on right now relative to creation and whether it was indeed 6 days and 1 day of rest or millions of years! Faith is believing and trusting in something unseen that our human minds can't comprehend - and that includes the story of Creation, the Flood, Jonah in the Whale, etc. I choose to believe! Very thought-provoking book and an excellent reference to use when debating with someone who does not believe the Bible.

Written in a question-&-answer format (27 questions with an additional concluding question regarding evangelism), this book tackles almost all common questions involving evolution, creation and the bible. This is very user-friendly as it's supplemented with charts, and black & white illustrations, and written non-technically. A great handbook defending young-earth creationism.
