Great Book! Well written and shows the reason Bible believing followers of Christ need to accept the first 11 chapters of Genesis based on comparing Scripture with Scripture. Deals with creation from a doctrinal point of view more than evolutions (science theories) VS Creation.An easy read that sets the foundation fore the rest of the Bible!

This book is astounding! It emphasizes the argument that God created the universe and its contents in six twenty-four hour days. Even though I am a scientist and a Christian, I have no trouble believing this. I believe it because that is what the Bible clearly teaches. The book challenges you to think whether we can interpret the Genesis account of creation in ways other than literally without doing damage to the Gospel message. The answer to this is a resounding "No!" The Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about a creation that is drastically different from the original one. Dr. Morris is absolutely correct to argue that death could have never been a part of the original creation. However, any other reading of the Genesis account of creation must accept death as a normal aspect of the original creation. But how could death be a normal aspect of a creation that has been called "very good" by God? I believe that this argument is the thesis of this book, and Dr. Morris does an absolutely superb job expounding on this thesis. This book also argues correctly that if Jesus Christ came to undo the horror of death, then Jesus came to undo something that did not need undoing if Theistic Evolution is the true explanation of existence. I highly recommend this book to Christians who are uncertain about the true explanation behind the existence of the universe and its contents.
